intake engine sound tube generator - weight?
 

Anyone know the exact weight savings if removed?

take a dump in the morning before you hop into the car. the weight saving will be greater than removing the sound tube.

Do both!

I blocked mine off using the cigarette lighter plug trick and I was shocked how much quieter the car was. Might want to see if you like the change before you remove it.

I got an exhaust and the sound tube was drowning it out at higher RPM. Yes it's that loud.

pretty sure removing sound tube = -5hp

Not a lot, but I've pulled mine off, and I'd say there is a pound or two there. I'd check for you, but I don't have a scale.
