GoPro Sesh 1/12/14 Sunday
 

What: Filming with a GoPro for over all review of the turbo kit, cabin noise, pulls, drive by exhaust notes, turbo spool sounds etc. I have a Hero 2 with a WiFi backpack to control it with my phone. I also have a mount and a stand as well.

I thought it would be a great opportunity for people that were curious about my car to get a feel of what a turbo does to our cars. Its basically the stage 1 of most other bolt on kits (250 ~ 280whp) out on the market right now. Although every kit has its differences, and everyone has different setups, you may get a general idea.

When: 1/12/14 Sunday, 10:30AM ~ Lunch, then maybe a optional cruise and film some more?

Where: Well, when I go mess around, and since I live in the NW pearl area, I take Naito all the way up north in to the industrial districts that has a long open parking lot. Initially lets meet at: 9:30AM Starbucks on 20th W Burnside (by Civic Condo's, and JeldWen field) Sorry this is the only place I can think of with a parking lot in DT Portland.

I'm sure its not ideal, but on Sunday's everything is pretty dead. If you guys have better spots for long straight away's, and barely no traffic let me know! Or just any area that will be appropriate for this.

Why: This is for PRE as well, since they hooked me up pretty good, and bobby, Erich really went above and beyond for this kit. Also I keep a YouTube diary of my build, and it was long due. I also think people are curious with this kit, which I think is a good deal if you live in the Portland area. Unless PRE goes to shit, they will stand by this kit if anything happens. And I'm a sucker for "custom" in-house build shit, not a huge fan of mass produce, everyone else has em kind of kits. But you all knew that by know lol.

I was planning on doing this on my own, but it would be fun if you guys wanna join in! I just hope the weather gets a little better, if its just absolutely shit, I will cancel it.

You could start or end at the Con-way parking lot on 21st. There's tons of room. Plus we could get on the freeway for an exit then get off at Glisan. I think I'm free Sunday morning so I could come.

sunday morning might be free for me as well...except for that 9:30 part nobody has time to wake up that early on a sunday

weather is starting to look like shit, I'm planning on filming tomorrow but will update first thing when I get up tomorrow. If it looks decent enough, I'm gonna go grab coffee at Starbucks on Burnside at 10:30AM, head out around 10:45AM.
