Borla
Anyone running Borla Exhaust components on their FR-S? How do you like it?

Same here. I love em. No problems.

I've got the Borla cat back exhaust! Sounds brilliant! You hear a nice deep rumble on start up, when warm you don't hear anything (like stock), but when you put your foot down it starts picking up. Around ~4000 rpm, it sounds amazing (not loud, just a hair louder and much deeper than the stock).
I don't listen to the radio much, but can still have a conversion in a very soft voice saying "hold on, honey" to my wife while screaming down a windy road at 5000 rpm. |
Enjoying my Borla UEL as well together with overpipe, Berk high flow front pipe and Invidia N1 catback.

Sounds good! I like the way it sounds:

Quick question guy's, aside from the Rumble of the headers. Do you guys hear a sound like exhaust gas rushing out of the headers. Like a supercharger sound.

Thanks for the inputs guys, I really like how the one in the video sounds. I just traded in my corvette for the fr-s and it had borla, and I love the sound, this will probably be what goes on the frs... thanks guys

hello guys, I want to know if i buy full exhaust borla system ( FR-S/ BRZ 2013 EL Headers part # 17285 and FR-S/ BRZ 2013 Cat-Back™ Exhaust part # 140496 ) and install it , does it have place to put oxygen sensor on or not ? and does it make my car's check engine light to turn on ?
is it bad to drive with car's check engine light on ? do i need to tune my car's ecu ? |

Yes I did, It was a 98, only had 46k on it, but I really needed a car with a back seat. My daughter is going to be starting school soon, so I may have to pick her up on occasion, so a backseat was a must. I did love that car, but I am finding that I like this one just as much, only in a different way. The vette had all the power, but the fr-s is more fun to drive. I will have another vette one day though, when I am old probably. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g1...psdybyqgqy.jpg |
not much of a back seat in the FRS man, i actually got mined used with 2k miles cause they lady couldnt fit her car seat in the back, i said hello manual frs hot lava !
