Custom Mid-pipe question.

Hello friends,

A question for the exhaust experts out there. I'm running a 2.5in resonated Perrin. I want to give the non-resonated version a try but shipping costs from the Us to Canada for a non-rez pipe is killing it for me.

My guess is I should just get a local shop to make a 2.5in mid pipe with no resonator and achieve the exact same thing since it's just a metal tube?

Am I right or horribly mis guided?

Thanks!

If they were to do that, they will need to design a 2.5" midpipe that connects via v-band and 2 bolt flange.

I have provided an image of what the midpipe looks like by itself. I'm sure you're aware of what it looks like, but it helps to have a visual that's not bolted onto a car.

You may also want to try looking at the for sale threads in your area, to save some shipping cost.

I appreciate the help and the picture. If no one can do it or the price is pretty close, I'll just order from you guys. Is fabing something with a V-band really difficult or can most shops do it?
