Painting the head lamps
 

I was thinking of [painting my headlamps, ie blacking out the reflector. I was wondering how much this reduces the light output ? and if there are any picture in which the headlights are painted a color other than black?

@cb7tuner painted his headlight's and reflectors. Looks really clean IMO.

If you paint the high beam reflector, you're going to lose a lot of light. The rest of the shroud parts around the projector and high beam reflector can be any color you want, it won't effect output at all.
