Header install in Toronto

It's weird that we a GTA sightings thread but not general discussion, but anyways...

The dilemma is that my header came in today, but my go to garage (i-garage) is off on vacation until the 20th - they can do it for $50. Are there any other suggestions of where to go to do this?

Have you tried Cyrious garage works?

VirUzxZ 01-06-2014 06:49 PM

If I remember correctly, yeah. Don't quote me on it though as my memory is very hazy.

Thats Pat Cyr's shop by the way -

You know - the FRS racer ?

I doubt a specialty custom racing shop charges that much, less than even crappy tire hourly rates. :slap: :bonk:

Why not just wait? Is the middle of winter after all!

$50 is very cheap, I'd charge more than that to do it in my driveway.

If Pat will charge 50 bucks,:eyebulge: I'll be there tomorrow ! I need lots done before spring !

$50 for install is crazy cheap! It'll take almost half an hour to get the car up on the hoist, get the under tray off, put the under tray on and get the car off the hoist. Even working fast it's probably at least half an hour to get the old manifold off and the new header on.

I would guess any shop would bill at about 1.5 hours total for the install, but that's just me guessing.

He said Ivan at i-garage will charge $50. Thats dirt cheap. Usually $100-150 depending on how familiar they are with the install for the particular car and condition of the car. It's an easy install though, headers for this car, but
God help you if your header bolts snap from seizing.
