Good to have options.
Although, personally, a 2JZ starts to ruin why I bought this car in the first place.

this beats the ls2 option by a mile

Looks ok I would wait till full billet motor mount comes out.

Those bolts look pretty small to hold back the kind of power that a person would be going for if installing a 2JZ.

It doesn't look as if they even completed the welds. Look cheap and weak IMHO

I purchased a set. They came in a few days ago and they're pretty beefy.

I'll let you know how they hold up.

Hmmm I sure hope a good mounting kit comes out by next year when I come back to the states from japan with a couple 2jz engines ;)

Here's a few. I think it'll be plenty to hold the motor. Ryan Tuerck uses them on his pushing 800+

Also, the fasteners are all M10 bolts, 16-17mm heads

armythug 01-26-2014 12:02 PM

Sorry for going slightly off topic but can you still get those engines new? And how much would one set you back?

MMorganFRS 01-26-2014 12:09 PM

Thanks for the pictures!

Plug and play motor mount kits would make things very interesting in 5-10 years when used examples become quite cheap... hmmm...
