Valenti rear bumper/reverse light question
Hey everyone! I'm interested in getting the valenti rear bumper/reverse light setup but have a few questions.
When applying the brake, the triangular light flashes correct? Is there any special re wiring for this to happen ? I do not want that light to be on all the time. Just when the brake is applied and so it flashes. What is the normal out of box operation for the setup? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
ft86me,
I have the tails, which were very simple and straightforward to install, and will be installing the center light, which I just got from Panson, when I get a dry day here in St. Louis. I have found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jrFASjxwWQ#t=182 It is from modbargains.com, they do a great job of explaining it. Because the US version of the car does not have the correct wiring and I'm guessing Valenti does not want to make more than one version of the connection harness, a small amount of rewiring is necessary. If you've ever done anything electrical with any car that involved splicing wires, this will be a cakewalk. I will try to make a write up for the installation when I get mine in. Birquah |
