Bought my brand new Scion FR-S on 12/21/13, best birthday gift ever! New to the car modding game so I have quite a bit of learning and research to do, but I am looking forward to all of it. Should be fun! Overall theme for the car, black with red accents throughout.

The weather finally gave me that break. After a good wash I found an empty parking lot and had myself a photo shoot :D

Swung by the dealership today to pick up my new emblems, also grabbed the color code off another FR-S for the Firestorm red. Dropped by NAPA as well as Home Depot to pick up the paint and plasti-dip.

Anyone else who needs the color code for the Firestorm red, the code is C7P Red, Lightning Red.

Seems like a good mod list. Even with a black and red theme (a theme I love and have done on several cars) the red fender vents are going to look mismatched and just sort of randomly "stuck on." It might be really cool and interesting if you got the BRZ fender vents and painted the silver/chrome line red to give it a nice red accent that runs through the vent.

Same with the headlights. Red headlights will look kind of strange on a black car if they're all red, might consider painting the chrome ring around the projector red, and doing the rest black. Keep them from looking like you just ripped the headlights off of a red car (like some car that has paint matched headlights.)

Rock whatever is going to make you happy man and most importantly - Enjoy! Modding cars is a money pit, but it sure is fun!

Quick update on where I'm at.

Installed the @GrimmSpeed License Plate Relocation kit about a week ago and last night I finally got around to plasti dipping my emblems black and painted them red. Also went to @Drift-Office and had them do a baseline dyno on my car last Saturday.

Debadged the FR-S and the scion emblems, replaced with Red toyota T's, and you can also see my Grimm Speed license plate relocation kit.

Here is a before and after of my interior trim pieces. Will post the installed pic tomorrow when there is some light.

Done alot to the car in the last 2 weeks. Really happy with the way everything is coming along so far. Still have a long way to go though :D

New wheels and tires were put on for Valentines day! Motgei MR116 18x8 with Nitto Motivos 235/40/18. When I eventually get coilovers I plan on lowering her an inch all around.

Blacked out the headlights on 2/2/14. Once I do my HID retrofit I'm thinking of blacking out the high beam reflectors. So far using the factory sealant has yielded no condensation in the lights after 2 weeks.

Painted just about all of the silver trim inside the car black, and then painted my AC vents red. Need to pull the trim from the center vent and paint that red too to make it flow better across the dash. Need to redo the steering wheel since its peeling where I put my hand when I lazy drive.
