Frs temperature gauge question
Hi guys it's me again
Got a small question So today I went to go pick up my girlfriend from work and my car is warmed up, the gauge is reading just a bit under the normal So I park the car and let it idle so it can warm up more while I wait for my girl to come out But then I notice the Guage gets lower ( first line after the c) instead of warmer Is this normal? As soon as my gf came out, I went to drive the car and let it warm up to normal temperature. Now I'm inside the car and the reading stays at normal. And now going lower Thanks guys Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk |

Factory temp gauges are terribly inaccurate anyways, so it's nothing to worry about. |

Your car will normally "throw you a code" if it's ah ailing .... ;) I suggest you pay more attention to your girlfriend .... she is more fragile than your car.....http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...images/yes.gif humfrz |
I noticed my gas gauge goes down when I drive. Is this normal too?

Thermostat should keep the temp in the normal range after the initial warm up. If it's cold outside it regulates the amount of coolant that's being circulated through radiator. So unless it's so cold outside that the engine can't get up to the working temperature with fully closed thermostat, it seems that the thermostat is not working correctly.
With the car being so new though, that seems very unlikely, so I'm not sure what it could be. |
