Has anyone done 17X8 +30 on stock suspension or 1" lowered?

Did a little searching and not finding the answer I need. I am looking at a 17X8 +30 wheel for my 2014 BRZ, with a correctly matched tire size, and I am wondering how well it will fit on both stock and 1" lowered suspension? I see in the wheel guide 17X8 +35 seems to be optimum.

Opinions?

im currently on 17x8 +35 all around and still on stock suspension. front is fine, rear could use another 5-10mm to make it flush. running 225/45

I ran a 17x9 +25 so that should fit fine.

Im on 17X8 +32 with 245s fits fine
