I stumbled upon this while watching misc engine videos. It's interesting to see engineering and luck meet together, how how ad-hoc and emotional it is. Also, they were using instant messaging back in '86. Note to self: don't put the ECU close to the engine with long cables that act like antennas, one of which wasn't connected to anything :) Mike |

Fantastic video! Cool to see some big names in there... had no idea Ross Brawn, who would later be the team principle at Mercedes, worked as an aerodynamicist with Williams. Cool stuff. :)

Awesome find! I love that they consider a couple of hundred of f1 engines not worth using CAD for.
