thats what my dealership keeps on saying, too. At this point most of the other regions have been contacted. If you dont hear anything by Monday, I would suggest reaching out to your Regional Sales Manager at Scion.

Someone in a recent thread (sorry cant remember which) posted all of the names/phone numbers for each region.

EDIT:
Found the #s

Nothing in the Southeast Region. My dealer finally told me they could see two headed for them in the pipeline and it looked like the second week of May but no VIN and no firm delivery date.

I had planned to do exactly ^above^ on Monday. I've also talked to Scion Customer Experience (who are much more enthusiastic about 1st86 than my dealer) and they basically told me the same.

Denver region, my dealership is in PHX and I was told I will take delivery May 14th. No vin or written confirmation yet, no official documentation at all for that matter.

Redmond, WA Stated delivery date is 5/11. Got a call from the Pacific Northwest sales manager letting me know and told me about limited dealer add on options. Also asked for jacket size.

I tried to call the ny regional office and told them I was a first 86 buyer of the Frs about 5 times and they kept asking who I represent before they gave me another toll free number to call which I never wrote down because I have had it...I just want some info on my car.

My dealer just sent me a letter saying that "[they] will have [my] vehicle cleaned, waxed, and ready for delivery to [me] in [their] showroom on May 20th."

So that's 1.) after the May 18 "all cars delivered to owners" date I've been hearing elsewhere on the forum (though we're not part of the regular Toyota dealer network, so maybe that doesn't apply) and 2.) also seems a bit late given that the dealer's in Jacksonville, so you'd have thought it to be one of the earliest in the southeast to receive the car.

No mention of a party or media presence (which I'm glad to avoid), but they did ask me my shirt and hat size.

EDIT: I did change my color during the trip, so maybe that contributed to (my perceived) late arrival?

Stopped in to my dealer today to try to nail down my OTD cost and once again confirmed that we're more well-informed about this car than they are. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be for lack of interest by the individual representative but rather an ineffective communication chain. They didn't know my VIN yet, but at least they know it was now white (since I swapped my color in Cali). They couldn't commit to price, since they didn't know what Scion was going to tell them my cost was, but it sounds like we can interpret that to mean MSRP plus the normal mandatory fees. ($599 doc/dealer fee here in Jacksonville!) Seems like we'll never actually sign part II of the paperwork, except maybe when finally closing the deal. I also confirmed they're not adding anything on to my car that wasn't already on it when they received it.

Still sounded like they're not doing a media event (or at least nothing involving me personally), but they will be displaying the car in the showroom for about a week before giving it to me. If I weren't coming in from out-of-town, I'd mind more, but since I can't drive in before the weekend, it wouldn't make a difference anyway. They did say no one will be driving the car (customer or employee), and while it's on display, it will be roped off from touching.
