Wanting to put on a new spoiler. HELP!

I currently have the stock rear lip. I want to put an after market spoiler on but the closer I looked I notice that the current lip is help on with 5 bolts. The spoilers I am looking at appear to be held on with 2 bolts. Will I need to switch out my whole trunk to do this?

Does the new spoiler cover the original bolt holes?

1. drill the holes.
2. swap a trunk with some else that already had OEM wing installed.
3. get a different spoiler that not require drill holes.

Proper adhesive tape and make sure the spoiler covers the holes and you're good to go.

thanks

problem is, none of the new spoilers I want cover all the old holes. I should have just got the car with no spoiler and put in the holes needed :bonk: anybody wanna trade trunks lol

you can always trade trunks which would be the best...or have a body shop fill in the holes ......options are pretty slim

I guess I will start by getting an estimate on filling in the holes

Fill the holes, easy job.

Can you let us know what estimate you get? TKs.

I got quoted $240 to shave my trunk holes from a reputable shop. Not sure if this is reasonable or not.
