TRD Supercharger anyone??
 

I'm thinking about doing it if it offers 50hp or more and of course if it's priced within reason. could make this car even more fun. anyone else entertaining the idea??

Technically there is one... in making. iirc it was in the catalog as TBA or something like that

I will try and master the 200HP before going crazy on mods

Most people IMO cant fully utilize the 200HP to its full potential and make excuses that its the cars fault and add more power

It all depends on price and warranty. I will be leaving this car fairly stock in hopes of an STi version.

I don't want this car without boost, so yes.

Never mind peak power (although more would be very nice -- it's only putting down about 160-170 to the tire). This car needs more low end grunt, which every reviewer has noted both on and off the track.

I don't think every reviewer said it needs more grunt. I think some might have stated the obvious, in that the car has low, low end TQ, but needs, is a subjective thing.

That being said, I'd consider a SC, BUT I've said that with all of my Hondas and NEVER put one one. I just stayed NA.

I'd say we'd be lucky to get 40hp out of an SC and it'll cost $4-5k.

There is no reason you couldn't strap a low boost, non intercooled supercharger to this car and get 40-50more whp. That would be cheap, lightweight and reliable. While some people will want more power than that, that is all the car really needs to be truely competitive in terms of engine performance.

light weight vehicles are a great thing.

Why wouldn't you want an IC in a 12.5:1 c/r boosted car (even with low boost)?

The added cost is worth it. Water/meth injection would actually work well as an alternative (or in addition). However I don't like relying on some other consumable besides gasoline. The IC is always there, and doesn't need anything else to work.

TVS or twin screw: maybe

Centrifugal: nope

I would go for full bolts-on first and then consider to go FI. It will work with SC anyways :)

Running mid single digit PSI, it would give the engine a nice boost (pun not intended) in torque.
