Why i feel so sad at the end...

I appreciate the time it took to make this video and although I'm not a huge fan of the stance, I do like the kit, and appreciate your passion for cars. :)

I will say that while 7 months might seem like an eternity for you to put together a $8-9000 build many members here take that long just to save for a cat back. In regards to the video it seems very stoic and serious, but it was hard for me to take it seriously because I didn't get the feeling you worked very hard to attain any of the parts that are on the car. I feel like you worked very hard -on- the car, but I would have rather heard more about your build, the reasons you decided on this kit, on the car, your wheels, what you liked about the car etc.

While it might not be true, and while you might work at a factory for 14/hr for 80hr a week, my impression from the video is that you just spend your parents money on cars to have whatever you want in the moment (considering the car is now for sale, and the Spooned s2K you've also owned).

Again...maybe you worked lot's of nights and weekends, and have tons of OT on every check and pay lots of bills, but the video doesn't convey that in any way, and I didn't make any connections with you as a fellow enthusiast because of it.

#momsmoney

Edit: Also...you're only contribution to the board has been to either sell your stuff, or post about your RB build. :(

thank you I love cars, but as far as my parts and car have been funded by myself and help from my other half at the time, I worked my ass off to get what I have and where I am at with my cars so that statement does strike a nerve with me. Example of the momsmoney sticker is for that reason people see a young guy with a nice car and think parents paid for it.

As far as the video yeah it did go off course on what we originally planned but my friends shane and leo want to make this a career so what ever they like goes this is to benefit them, they are using it for film festival purposes figured I'd share.

I don't get on here much as I am constantly working, Instagram has become a quick and easy way to communicate with other frs owners I have given plenty of advise to my peers both on here in messages and off the boards

thank you for your input though most people dont speak their minds anymore
cheers!

Well, that was a "life experience" I'll bet you don't soon forget ...;)

The FEELS.

I'm also 20 and whenever somebody else see's me driving they always assume I'm just a spoiled brat. Truth is age is nothing but a number and I know young kids (even younger then me) work harder than many older people I know.

Dope ass video, keep it going brotha.
:thanks:

touching!

Sorry to hear about your situation, still that's an sic RB. Did you decide to keep it?

636 12-23-2013 04:50 PM

My girlfriend showed me the video last night, and we too were curious about how you afford everything!

Some 26 cars and you're only 20! Insane! But hey man, if you got a system that works, then keep on keepin' on!

Can I ask what you do? :P

It's so irrelevant to ask what people do. Especially since this car is an entry level sports car any person with a decent credit score could sign for.

it's entry level for sure. but i think there has to be some sort of financial cushion in order for someone to consider cutting up the fenders and screwing in a widebody kit.

I think the build is awesome and the video production was very entertaining.
