Question: Which reverse cameras do y'all like and why?

As the title suggests, I'd like to poll you guys as to why you chose the particular reverse camera (or would choose if you haven't installed one yet). I am shopping for a reverse camera, I know kinda what features I want, but there are a lot of different companies with lots of different cameras at lots of different price points and I have no idea which ones are good cameras and which ones are not. So I figured I would tap the knowledge bank and get some ideas of how to narrow my search. As far as specific features that I am looking for, it is three things: 1) 120-140 degree fov, 2) the green/yellow/red lines so I have some sort of frame of reference, and 3) i want it to look like its oem. Thanks in advance!:bow::bow:

Just purchased the BeatSonic backup camera and adapter. They say it's plug and play...

i use a 14$ 170 degree CCD camera from amazon, works great, nice clear sharp image, waterproof... better resolution than the CMOS cameras..

I like them on larger vehicles but don't find it necessary on a small vehicle like the FR-S

I went with a Metra TE-SBC. I've had one on my truck for a couple of years and it's given me no trouble through 2 crappy central Canadian winters. For $40 you can't really go wrong either.

I chose the Rydeen duo because it looks the most oem and has solid build quality. Downside is the viewing angle is a couple degrees less than a some other cameras but that hasn't bothered me much. As for lines, you want a camera that let's you disable it's lines because the head unit already provides adjustable lines that you can't disable

I chose the Kenwood CMOS-210 because of its excellent quality and great picture. From doing my research on choosing a camera for my car there were a handful like the Rydeen duo, beatsonic, and cmos-210 that all seemed to be fantastic cameras!

Rydeen Duo. Like other poster said. It looks great, good image and look blend into with the car (factory look).

Another satisfied Rydeen Duo owner here. Looks OEM and build quality is high. Was easy to install and hook up to adapter harness. Just one wire from the camera harness spliced to one wire on the adapter harness. No cutting or splicing to the OEM wiring. It even has a ground lug preinstalled that you attach to an existing ground bolt in the car. Picture quality is great and I find the viewing angle to be perfect for backing into my space at work. I can also see if any of the crazy neighbor kids are running behind my car when I back out of the garage.

Because it's cheap, very small, works great and I didn't need to drill any holes.
