Moto-East is back up for service/fabrication/dyno!

After a brief hiatus due to real estate issues and having to do an emergency move, we are back up and running in the new location! Full service dyno, installation, and fabrication services to include TIG, and even light machining.

Stay tuned for more pics and a 2014 grand re-opening, this is truly a huge move for us and should help us have a stable home base for tuning, fabrication, and making those installs happen here so we're not fixing other problems all the time instead of tuning!

February update!

We've been quite busy transforming the former oil company building into a shop. Zoning hurdles cleared, we were able to get some work done despite the construction/move.

MX-5 that we're doing an engine swap on

BRZ drove from pittsburg for a header install

10k low profile two post lift finally came. This can take some pretty low cars without needing to jack.

Otherwise we are fully up to welding and cutting. Tubing bender back up and running as well for cages/roll bars. The machining equipment (hone, lathe, mills...) are being moved slowly due to weather, but that should be up and running by the end of the month as well.

Very cool. Congrats on the move. May just have to come out and visit.

Had some brave souls with snow tires come by, P&L Catted Header installed!

Actually quite nice to drive one car with, then the next without while road tuning. Proper headers work wonders on this car!

Go ceramic if you have the option. Good for a couple of HP and much less heat in the engine bay. P&L really did a nice job here with everything lining up dead on.

It's been quite busy with the tuning end so I haven't had a chance to update this thread, but we are now 100% independent, have a tech on staff, upgraded the tire equipment to handle just about any mount/balance job!

The new address is:

We can handle any header, CAI installs, etc...and will make room for some bigger off season projects. Please contact us for details, but we have full fabrication capability including TIG/MIG etc...

We've been getting busier and busier, adding another lift and working to get one of our part time techs full time. To help move things along we have a few specials for locals:

Service/Parts:
Tire mount/balance: $60 for 17" $75 for 18", half off if the wheels are bought from us. (We carry most and price match a real ad, just not yet in the online store)
Kraftwerks installed special: $4200 (space available, must order 2-3 weeks ahead of time)
HKS Hipermax coilovers: 1450 picked up or 1750 installed
SPC control arms 99/side for the rears
Clutch swap 250 (50 off normal 300 price)
Driveshaft install: 80
Header swap: 180

Tuning: Local special is 399 including EcuTek license for NA, includes a drive around to datalog and fine tune. We also lowered the entry price on our EcuTek full kits with a basic flash.

Fabrication: Our winter special will soon be taking effect. For any serious builds where we're doing some custom fab work, take 15% off. These aren't rush jobs, but for those who want a custom turbo or roll bar/cage setup, and don't need the car for the winter. When the snow piles on this helps us stay productive when we know folks won't be bringing their RWDs in! We have full MIG/TIG welding, plasma, tube bending and whatever else you would possibly need. We can even make custom flat bottoms and more, and powdercoat on site.

You MUST mention this post to get the prices. Service pricing is for ft86 club members only. Tax charged as applicable, and consumables not included (valve stems, fluids, gaskets etc...)

Good prices! $250 for the clutch is well worth it!

We just revamped our service section to better reflect what we do. Not only have we also hired a fabricator, but we have a total of 3 lifts now to include...

https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...e2093f814ea6cc

Alignment & corner balance!

The lift is bolted down as is the camera column, this week we will hang the rest and run the plumbing and get it finished up. This is a hunter optical system, so it is super accurate and we have extension ramps for lowered cars.

We also have Intercomp scales to do the weighing, photo dump will be forthcoming once we get everything set up and cleaned. Place is a mess from all the moving and concrete drilling to fit the Hunter rack.

All the special order Hipermax coilovers sold quick, but we have the following used parts available:

Eibach front sway bar
Hotchkis rear sway bar
Perrin front pipe, over pipe
Speedfactory dual 2.5" cat back exhaust (black)
H&R Coilovers
Raijin 18x9.5 square black
RPF1 18x9.5 black (one has slight curb rash in a small corner, but can easily be covered up)

We can powdercoat the wheels to whatever color for about a 100 bucks, this includes clear coating! If you haven't seen clear over powder, you're missing out, gorgeous finish.

Pricing is basically 30-50% off list for these parts, all are in good working condition but clearly have about a year's worth on them.

In the FI front we have JRSC kits available for same day install (one arriving next week) and have ONE sprintex 335 kit destined that isn't spoken for yet. This is for those who want 300 torque. Think LS type of power. For locals we can cut a bit of a break because we REALLY want to see one of these on a stock motor. No guarantees, but if anyone can make it work it would be us!
