So when opening these up do they even need to be baked open? Im about to order mine this week...

We would have to say yes.. @Gixxersixxerman tried just pulling them apart but couldn't, they don't use typical butyl rubber, just a rubber gasket.. He uses his standard bake time with the winjets to open and close them

Sounds good. I just looked at a retrofit someone did...don't know that I care to change the cutoff it looks decent enough for my needs but will be painting the housing to look like the 10 series and 86 headlight...

I don't remember seeing pics of this but I must have because I was literally thinking about doing the laser etching, I had actually just emailed TRS earlier today. Asking them some questions about doing this.

I've bought a few different things from them in the past, I typically go pick it up as they're located here in Atlanta, and yeah these guys are awesome.
