New Winjet Headlights LED FLICKER?!
 

Hi everyone,

So i just got my new winjet headlights for my FRS. As of right now they are not yet installed because it is night time and my car is dirty from the rain...Anyways..of course i wanted to see how they looked, so i set one on top of the stock headlight and plugged it in. looks great...but wait! I noticed a slight flicker of the led lights. Maybe its because my other headlight is running hids? Are any of you who have the new headlights experiencing the flicker in the LED lights?... Let me know.

Ok...looks like I found out what the problem was. Turns out my HID Ballasts are a piece of junk. My HID's drain power so the light flickers and is a lot dimmer than it should be. Can't wait for my new HID kit to get in.

Any idea why this may happen when the LEDs are dimmed for DRLs?

The winjets shouldn't dim with DRL on, are you running halogen H7 bulbs? They turn off with headlights on in stock form

When I just plugged them in, there was no drl feature at all. So I created a harness like one would do for oem gt86 lights. Is there something that I can use to stop the pulsing?
