Ticking sound, under load
 

I'm beginning to wonder more and more about an odd noise i have heard since installing Borla UEL.

When in a low gear ( say 5th gear cruising at 35 mph) and i give the car 50% or more accelerator press i hear a ticking sound coming from the passenger floorboard area. My guess is that the header (even though tightened) is either still leaking exhaust pressure or something i cant figure out. Frankly it is kind of embarrassing of a sound to have to push the gas pedal in a low gear at hear it go ticktickticktick until the RPMS get above 4.5k

Anyone else with similar experiences?

This is the danger to manifold we were warned about. And we just laughed it off.

Probably just an exhaust leak at header/uppipe. Look for soot.
