You will be pleased to know that your baby features prominently in the new Grand Turismo 6 on PS3 platform. You can now get to race without worrying about the paintwork (or clocking up E-toll). The game features many variations of the car including the BRZ as well as full race models. In game pictures are pretty .... and naturally I had to choose pearl white!!! Who will be the first to mod his real car to put a PS3 in it?

86 GT '12 @ 448BHP - with Nitrous (to scare Skyline GTR's when you fly past them... :-D) is ( in my opinion) one of the most fun cars on GT6. Cornering, steering feedback and the sweet sound of the tires screeching on Grand Turismo has never been so realistic and incredible.

I first saw the 86 as a concept car in GT5(around 2010) , (which the interior looked like a space ship?, and definitely represented what it stood for: "FT"86 ("Future Toyota")86. (Pity they removed the FT...)).

I believe Love is built over time, and sometimes you have to wait. In my case, After 2 years of working hard, studying and saving(from 2012) I finally purchased my first vehicle...and hell yeah! an 86!

Most of my peers where putting down deposits for their new apartments(investments), I was putting down a deposit for my 86.

Unconventional, impractical, and INCREDIBLE!...that's how I feel everyday waking up to the sheer excitement of the fact, that I will be driving an 86 to work.

It instills BELIEF in me. Belief to succeed far beyond my competition.
Motivation to work harder and smarter, to push an extra mile(km) and never give up.

That's what defines me. Striving for success...and my 86 is keeping me on the right track. (No pun intended).

To me, my 86 is an investment. I value it far more than a monetary value.

My dream was a Satin White Pearl 86, but I was getting a great deal on a demo model 'Crystal Black Silica'(ie. Black) 2.0 Std Manual, with 6000km on the clock.

Picked it up 2 weeks ago, lots of plans for it in the future when I save more cash...but for now planning to do VPS on the front, smash n grab and a set of 18inch black ALine Wizzards(as soon as ALine get them in stock).

Its been in Toyota Melrose Arch for a week now. I sent it in for the gear box\clutch rattle\loose feeling that I read about in this forum. The mechanic there said the only directive he found was to change the gear lever. I asked him to loosen the gear box mounting and tighten it back. (Not sure if this will solve the issue?) I was thinking about asking them to return the vehicle and taking it to Randburg Toyota, but they stripped my vehicle (it was heart breaking) and told me that my gear lever bushes are damaged, which they ordered from toyota parts (and toyota parts is on strike) , this has lead me to frustration and annoyance over the service delivery from Toyota Melrose. Not sure if they know what they are doing...

Hopefully I get it back in time for the weekend coming up at Zwartkops :D, really looking forward to the event and getting advise from the experienced 86 drivers on mods and the way forward.

Hope it gets sorted soon. I haven't had good luck with Melrose Arch, they will never see me again. Incompetent to say the least.
