So I thought that is was about time that I created my car journal. I got my FR-S on June 9, 2012 with 9 miles. I had just come back from a deployment and had not kept up with when the release was. On June 8th i walked in to see if they had a showroom model as the last I heard was they werent coming out til all other 2013 vehicles come out around october. To my surprise they had 2 in stock a raven automatic and an ultramarine manual. Well of course i had to ask my wife first. So the next day when i finally got the green light i came in traded my Scion xB and sealed the deal. only dealer added accessories were the H.I.D’s, tint, alarm, and rear scion applique.

Drove it around for a year and some change without doing any other mods. Mostly because there wasn’t a lot to choose from and coming out parts seemed to be too expensive at the time. But I had the CEL Traction Control problem. Took 4 Times to get it fixed. Car spent 3 months total at the dealer waiting for the fix. Also did the DRL disabled, but i think if i order the LED kit ill see if they can reenable it.

July 2013: I ended up using the K&N typhoon intake from my xB with some modifications to start. not really the best idea as it seemed to really bog on take-off.

August 2013: Bought my Perrin lightweight crank pulley from @Nitesh31 and installed. Later in the month I debadged the FR-S and swapped the scion to toyota emblems and removed the scion applique. going to redo the badges as i want to paint them black. I really like the stealth look as that will be my end outcome.

November 13, 2013: Head to Alignment Plus and have George Pena set my toe to 0 and front camber to 2 degrees. cant adjust the rear til i get my rear LCA’s so with the drop its at 1.5 and 1.75 degrees in the rear dont remember which is which though.

November 23, 2013: Went to FT-86 Nation at Auto Club Speedway and did autocross there. While i was there i bought my Perrin cold air intake from @FT-86 SpeedFactory thanks Jeremy on the great price.

November 24, 2013: Installed the Perrin cold air intake. Seems to be significantly less bog on take-off. definitely like this intake over the K&N typhoon kit.
