tire warranty question
 

I got a set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS's installed a couple of weeks ago and I got a flat yesterday.

I took it to the shop and they said it was ripped so it's not repairable. I was looking at the warranty information but not sure if I can get a replacement in this situation.

Has anybody tried this before or have any knowledge on tire warranties? Does it matter if I bought it from a local shop?

If you bought road hazard, otherwise SOL

Unless you can prove it was a flaw in the tire. How did it "rip"?

damn really? I thought they would have at least some warranty on brand new tires. pothole bah.
