People who got the new AC drop TSB or injector seal TSB, you are needed.

Got my car back yesterday. It seems like there is a louder "air" noise with he engine now. The transmission was replaced, but I don't think that should effect this noise. I know it's the engine and not the good or anything because if I'm in neutral at 45, I don't hear the sound. But if I'm holding the engine at higher RPMs, I can hear the "airy" noise.

So my question is could this be related to the reprogramming of the ECU for those TSBs? It had both performed on it. I don't know if it just sounds different because of different air flow or what. And also, it does it with the AC on or off.

The sound is kind of like wind noise, but I know it isn't wind noise. It is the engine, not the hood.

Could be any number of things with all the intake and exhaust mods you have...

Never heard it until after I got it back from the dealer. Mods had been on for thousands of miles.

You said you had the tranny swapped out...thing the exhaust didnt get removed when they did that?

Could be a exhaust leak

Well shit, I guess I didn't think of that. I was under the car yesterday tightening up a flange that I replaced and everything looked ok. I mean, the sound doesn't sound bad, it just sounds different than it did before the car went in.

It's up in the engine bay so it could only really be the overpipe to header flange, or maybe the front pipe to overpipe. But it sounds higher than that.

Rare triple post...

Maybe it's actually normal now and something was leaking before hand?

There is a TSB now for injector seals?

Only if your car has the symptoms.

When did it come out? I had my seals replaced 2 months ago but I don't believe they did any programming.
