For retail customers who wish to learn more about tuning their own vehicle, this is an opportunity for all EcuTek Tuners to provide tuning courses and dyno time to assist the customer in learning about and tuning their own vehicle. |
I'm honestly wondering if this is a hoax. It was just so unexpected. :)
Its real!! We knew a month ago but were sworn to secrecy!
So, if i read this right, it adds another $400 to the cost of the tune... how is this competative?
Edit:i see moto says it's free. The suggested retail price of $399 line threw me off. |
RaceROM is 399.
So this was the big announcement we've all been waiting?:)
p.s. I believe this thread belongs more in the software/tuning section. |
There is already one in there. They are all over the place lol
so what is my price, out the door, to go from having nothing ecutek-related (no license, cable, etc) to being able to tune my own car from scratch? and who can i send the money to?
Its def real. Cats been in the bag for a while they finally decided to let it out. I have been waiting for this since sema.

if it's $1000+ they had better have a lot more than speed density up their sleeve. you can get an openport for $169, OFT for what, $500? speed density is nice if you need it (and i do), but i'm not sure that's a great value. the other features i don't much care for (electronic boost control, flex fuel, etc). |
Do I need the $399 RACEROM-tune-it-yourself option to be able to tweak ignition timing advance? Intake or Exhaust Cam angles?
