Ahhh......yes, Eatonville is a nice town.

Here is a good road, just outside of Eatonville, to practice your "drifting" techniques ..... you just gotta be "quick" .....:D

Yep, it's an airstrip close in to Eatonville.

It doesn't have a air traffic control tower, so you have to tune in with a scanner to detect any arriving flights.

It has two "escape" routes at one end, but only one at the other end.

Make sure the Eatonville cruiser (LEO) is at the donut shop before you make a run.

 ...... NO, I haven't made a run on it ...... BUT, I have been tempted ..... http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...mages/woot.gif

Oooooo......my, well if you must know, Eatonville is a few miles south of Puyallup. The Swanson airport is just north of town.

Note the big circle at the south end of the airstrip.

If you really want to piss them off, start at the north end, blast down the airstrip, do a couple of turns drifting around the circle and blast back up to the other end......:burnrubber:

CAUTION: If you get caught ...... you might wind up in the Eatonville jail ...... which, I have been told, makes the old Yuma Territorial Prison seem like a resort!

it is also a violation of NTSB and Homeland Security laws to illegally drive on a runway (controlled or uncontrolled airport) so that makes it a federal, not a local offense. If you get caught a stop in the Eatonville jail will be just a temporary oasis for what will be coming down the road.

just saying....

Dad's right, you can get in some pretty big trouble, haha!

Maybe hit up Bremerton raceway or Pacific Raceways if you want to drive on the track in the Seattle area.

Yep, that's what may happen in most parts of the USofA.

However, down in the country ...... of Eatonville, they mostly take care of trouble makers their own way. If caught, you would be made a love slave to the jailors wife and your "cute" little car would be used as practice for Bubby and Billy Bob's moves at the fair...... :slap:

REALLY folks, DO NOT TRY THAT RUN !!!!!

Hey, I didn't say go for it, just know the price of admission!

Or maybe you can just use the iPhone Nav app and claim that's the way it sent you.

But, all the pilots and ATC staff know each other.

True, I drive on tie-down areas and taxiways all the time, with permission. The same is true for the runway for that matter, but you have to have permission and at an uncontrolled airport the runway would have to be officially closed.

It's good that the it was suggested you listen in on a radio but at an uncontrolled airport (which is the majority of smaller airports) an inbound plane has no requirement to make a call. It is done as a courtesy but is not required. Ground vehicles (winged/unwinged) have the right of way obviously but that doesn't make it legal to be there.
