BBS Lm changing barrels?

Its fairly impossible to find bbs lm in 5x100 wider than 8 inches and specs i would like, then all this thinking reminded me that LMs are 2 piece wheels. What i have in mind is to get bbs in 17s/18s and source reps for the barrels and slap them on to get them wider than 8inches and offset im happy with. Wondering has anyone ever attempted it or know that its possible.

Its possible to find BBS LM's used for sale but since the 5x100 offering for LM's have been discontinued, its nearly next to impossible to find them nowadays. I have a pair of LM's in 5x100 and ive been searching the internet for months for LM faces for sale but with no luck. Also it is possible finding barrels wider then 8 inches, mine are for example 8.5 +25 inches.

they still offer it in japan but at 4k i think a forced induction is better way to spend the money lol I know 8.5 are around but rather rare and expensive where i live and Lms in subaru specs are cheaper in weaker sizes and reuse the faces on rep lm barrels to get my desire specs

Lm reps are one piece wheels. The hardware is just for show. Convert to three piece if you want to go wider than 8.5".

Nope last time i checked with two respectable BBS importers and they told me that the 5x100 offerings for BBS LM's have since been discontinued since 2012. Also Forced induction is awesome I would suggest going that route, i will soon be too :burnrubber: & also LM Replicas also i forgot to mention and it has been already in the post only come as 1 piece wheels.

Yes i realised that. . . might get some weaker ones and swap the faces to them to some 114.3 specs when i have the cash ;D
