I really didn't like the FT-1 at all...

At first I didn't like the FT-1 at all but after seeing it in silver, if they calm down some of the lines, it actually might be ok...

Jaden

the word that best describes it as it sits is GARISH....

As much as I am a die hard Toyota fanboy, I'm still not diggin' the front end. The ass end is and 3/4 rear shot is perfection, but the front end just doesn't do it for me. Kind of like the new SRT Vipers. I love the ass ends, but I wish the face was sexier.

Hopefully the final revision will look cleaner.

Wow. This is the only car I would consider trading in my 86 for.

When can I put a deposit down on one hah! Dead serious.

I love the following:

Interior
Side Profile
Wheels
Downforce retractable spoiler

Not a fan of following:

Overdone front end
Large ass side gap back end

I'm sure it'll be all toned down and I hope more towards the old Supra.

It damn well better have a manual option or I'll be pissed!!

The fact that the second concept only has a color change most likely means they are sticking as close too its styling cues as possible for the production car. If so, IMO that is great news. I love the way it looks, and it looks even more amazing in person :D

Or that they just repainted it. Several companies have repainted a concept and displayed it at a new venue.

I believe Toyota did that with the black FT-86 II when they shown it off in orange. But I don't believe they did this with FT-1, because one article said both the red and sliver FT-1 will shown off together at a different time. Also Alex Shen hinted that a second model would be built.

On a different note, the LF-LC and LF-LC Blue are actually two concept cars just with different colors. Also, as we learned last month, Lexus has said at least 90% of the styling cues will carryover into production.

It looks way better in silver than in red. That said, I still think that it's a little over the top, especially the front end.
