That second cat will not keep you from throwing a cel, the 2nd o2 sensor is before the 2nd cat. It goes primary 02, header cat, secondary 02, over pipe, front pipe, secondary cat. So if you trying to prevent a cel its the primary cat that matters, the one in the factory header.

If you plan on catless headers go with resonated. Though you mention that you don't want a CEL so I guess thats out.

If you aren't messing with the header then I don't think a OP/MP would make that much difference resonator or not.

If you're planning on putting headers on get the resonator... If you are keeping the stock header then don't bother.

I'm planning on keeping stock headers… so i shouldn't bother going resonated ?

Not sure there would be much benefit to doing that, but yeah if that's what you really want to do then don't bother with a resonator.

Stock headers will keep the sound levels relatively low so you dont have to get resonated. If you're looking for a quality overpipe I have for sale here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51477

I wouldn't go resonated, especially since you won't be changing the headers. Resonators just drive the cost of the exhaust up for quieter sound and heavier weight. Everyone is biased on the sound, I'm 19 and basically have a straight pipe lol

I just wish I could hear a video that compares the two lol

Go resonated, sooner or later you will change the header. Plus the downpipe 2.5 has just and helmhotz resonator so it doesn't really make it quiter just help with drone
