What's wrong? I think it actually looks okay... :iono:

That hood scoop looks badass... is it functional or is it like the hood scoop on my '05 4Runner Sport :)

It is an actual scoop if it the one by RK Sports I think. Not sure how much function is there.

if its the same as the one I saw at a meet, it's functional... ugly, but functional

Hood is badass, badge looks fine but the car has no lexus flair. Maybe the guy has an all leather interior and doubled the firewalls ;) haha

I just think the Lexus badging is a bit much. Swapping to a Toyo badge is fine, since our car is a Toyota, swapping to a Lexus badge, when the car is no where near being a Lexus...cmon.

Hood is fine, no problems there, not my taste, but it's fine. Kind of looks like the hood on an SRT Viper. It's just that Lexus badge.....:sigh:

maybe if it was white with some black accents. Doesn't matter to me but I thin kit looks good.

I think it's a stretch since Lexus is also part of Toyota.

I find the doors being open while this pic was taken way more offensive. Well, that and the all black wheel treatment - just not my taste. The Lexus badge is not that big of a deal to me - at least it's not badged outside of the "family".

Opethfan 12-09-2013 02:12 PM

I agree. Feeling the need to add a Lexus badge to it makes it seem that you are too good to drive a Toyota or Subaru lol. If Toyotas and Subaru's are below you then why drive one lol?

Totally thought about rebadging to Lexus (especially the gold ones) to mine for the exact reaction above. Kudos to the owner although I would never do the other stuff he's done.

Edit: I think I posted about doing it a couple months back but am too lazy to dig it up, didn't get much of a reaction then.

Wait what lol??

Waiting for red Honda type-R badges to start showing up; that's when you know the aftermarket has really matured.
