Custom Purple Winjet and Black Winjet Headlights
 

Myself and @rasec29 installed our Winjet headlights. Baked open and painted his set. Install went very smooth. Quality seems very good. Now waiting on some HID bulbs.

It seems like they're all over ebay now...Perhaps our vendors are some of the last to receive theirs?

recieved them last wednesday, picked them up so didn't have to wait on shipping

I was really hopping for a headlight set that will come with build in HID kit since I read some rumors with the winject has the possibility to come stock with them....

not saying they don't look great, but for me....

yeah... the problem is I got blinded by people driving on high way with HID in normal reflectors (not even projector.... ) and high beams. It's really uncomfortable so I really don't to do it to someone else.

Doing a proper retrofit requires a spare oven.... which I have no idea where to obtain XD

There is just something unique about somes Sol Cal drivers.
It seems like when ever it rains or when the sky turn dark, they lost their ability to drive and see.

The white one has the JDM Password carbon fiber lip, the black one has Five Axis lip kit.

light output is better than stock in my opinion

the quality is pretty good? I have heard mixed comments about quality thus haven't bought these bad boys yet

only time will tell really. my only complaints, the wiring could be longer and the black looks to just be painted a lil poor. there is a rough line around the chrome ring on one headlight. I didn't even notice it though until Cesar pointed it out durring install

Another quick question, do you know what LED's your using in your turn signal? That's definitely gonna be my next mod.

cesar has some switch backs I think he got from ijdmtoy.com, mine are old from my previous car, prob ebayed

I heard the same things on the Vancouver forum. The only thing that you might want to think about is the high beams. I don't like not having them. They still have them, but rather then the high beams being in the projector, it is the led stip. I don't like that, but I thought you might want to know.

This is false, yes the led strip comes on with the high beams, but the projectors cut off has an actuator that turns on high beams

Really? That's great then. I thought that on the install video I heard them mention no high beam, but thanks for correcting me. :thumbup:

The video you're talking about might have been talking about installing HID. Maybe with the HIDs it won't give you high beams?

idk the link is gone, there is a thread though with pics. Also, I installed some HIDs the other day, high beams still function just fine. The video where that comment was made has un update saying they do have high beams

I freaking love the purple lights! I just got my 18x8.5 ASA powder coated royal purple so it would accent well. What kind of paint did you use?

To confirm - These do have both beams in the Projector just to Clarify -

The Projector uses a flap to control the amount of light and the beam pattern
