BTW we had someone install these with the fog light kit we sell. It's the white wire you want for tapping on the fog lights. :) Simple and looking great!

How do you retain the LED strip (DRL) with the low beams? I know they come on with the high beam but how do you keep them for the low beam as well? Figured I'd ask instead of taking my DMM to them.

winjets

When installing the Winjet headlights do I need to disconnect the battery terminal before removing the bumper and installing?

Theres a thread about this. There needs to be a resister wired in.

Always good practice to disconnect the battery when doing any type of work.

Got some time to do an install video of the Diode Dynamics HID kit onto these headlights.

Hope this helps some people!

Dang! I could've got a bigger discount! I ordered the Winjet/hid package from you guys last night and I just now saw the video. Horrible timing haha.

I want these lights. I'm just having a hard time deciding if I want to go with the chrome housing and get that GT86 OEM look or go with the smoked housing since it would look real nice with my Raven FR-S.

Where's the thread? Also do I get H7 35W or H7 55W as stamped on the Winjet headlights?

The diode dynamics kits we sell are confirmed to fit the OEM housing and also these Winjet ones so if you have a diode dynamics kit it fits both just fine.

Thanks for all the info in this thread. Do you know if light output is going to be a bit better with the Winjet headlights (on low beam) vs OEM headlights? Would you happen to have any pics...
