Stock class king... sounds like Ryan! Maybe you two should co-drive the FRS this year... we need more competitors :)

Or, maybe you should co-drive his S2k, cuz S2kC needs more competitors too.

Or both...

Free Modifications
- any brake pads

I'm assuming big brake kits fall into the "free modification" section, but just making sure.

Also: altered suspension mounting points, does that include adjustable arms?

Lastly: what qualifications are you looking for in regards to board members?

And as it stands, my car is a 2.25 with my Ohlins + 17x8" RE30s + 235 RT615Rs.

Maybe time to put "better" stock tires on stock wheels and get some points back to run in stock class.

Fun.

Brakes, including BBKs, are free mods. I do realize that a lightweight BBK can increase performance, but the primary purpose for most of our drivers is to reduce long term cost, and a reduction in long term cost results in more attendence. This was a compromise that I had to make. Additionally, larger BBKs would actually hurt performance, although I doubt we'd see an example of this.

Adjustable arms are not altered mounting points. Using something that alters or moves where the suspension is bolted onto the car (whether through an adapter or through rewelding) are considered alter mounting points.

Thinks I'd like...
- record of regularly attending track events
- working rudimentary of knowledge of cars and mods (just enough to answer basic questions)
- ability to attend most of the 2014 events
- willingness to try to grow event attendence. The more the merrier!

Of course, other considerations will be made, and not everyone needs everything. We want a varied board!

I'm deploying in late Feb. and I'll be gone until July :-) I'll see if the wife lets me go to Big Willow on the 16th of Feb.

Please welcome @mav1178 and @ImperiousRex to being board members! We still need a few more volunteers :)

Additional update.

We've negotiated season entry deals for all 86CUP drivers for 2014!

Any 6 events of the 12 events in the season for $750
Any 9 events of the 12 events in the season for $950
All 12 events in the season for $1100

This includes ANY venue, including the Auto Club Speedway events, which normally goes for $200 per day!

However, unused events are not refundable, so only purchase what you're planning to use...

I like the rules Mike. I think for a car specific series, a points system seems to work the best. I say try em out for a couple of events and if something is really off, tweak it accordingly but as a rule set goes, it looks like it'll work.

Just for clarification, the gurney flap only applies to level one wings, so if one were added on the oem spoiler it would not add points? And also an oem brz spoiler is free if mounted on an frs (i hope?)

That would be correct.
