Getting involved in aftermarket/tuning business?
I have a long winter break ahead of me and I don't want to be stuck at home with nothing to do. I'm a 19 year old college student who is very interested in cars and tuning and wants to learn more about them. So my question is: How can I get involved in the aftermarket/tuning industry? I'm looking for some sort of internship or job, but I'm willing to do training for free if it means I can gain experience and knowledge.
Any good advice would be appreciated! For the record, I'm in the OC/LA area and I have some experience with suspension, light engine work, exhausts, and detailing. Thanks in advance. |
how to find a job:
step 1: find a company you want to work for step 2: ask them if they will hire you step 3: ???? step 4: Profit! 4chan never fails on a more serious note, one way to figure out who's doing the good tunes is to show up to a race event in your area and see whose names are on the cars, then find those shops or just approach the drivers and ask them where they tune their cars then go to those shops and ask for work. |
