NEW: Denso Japan 265lph Fuel Pump Now Available!
Hi FT86Club,
This is our first post and we are definitely looking forward to settling down. I see many familiar faces and am humbled to be apart of the vendor community. For those of you who have never heard of us, up until this point we have specialized solely in performance parts for the R35 Nissan GTR. During the past two years in the GTR market, we have had our fair share of dealings with the various Chinese re-branded fuel pumps being marketed to that community. Even large, well-respected USA brands are now re-branding these pumps for their high profit margin. (Up to 1000% markup being common.) We ourselves were captivated by the low pricing of the pumps (Around $150 Street Price), especially in comparison to the HKS Denso Pumps which commonly sell for $400/each in the GTR world. After branding our own line, we started to see various failures and it became apparent these pumps were bargain priced for a reason. Quality control in China is a well documented problem. We quickly pulled the pumps off the market until a better solution could be found. The biggest issue proved to be the low grade materials used inside the pumps, which we saw through higher amperage draw (in comparison to the OEM Denso Japan Pumps) when the pumps got hot....resulting in blown fuses/melted harness wiring, etc....and erratic fuel trims during logging. We also saw the internal pump brushes deteriorate, resulting in debris clogging fuel filters/lines. Over the summer, we began looking for a better solution, which lead us to where we are now. HKS Japan, one of the world's most respected tuners, has had a phenomenal track record with their Denso Japan 195lph Fuel Pumps in the GTR market. However, being 300% more costly than the various Chinese Pumps, had not been as commonly accepted. Denso, as you know is the OEM Manufacturer of the factory FR-S/BR-Z/R35 GTR Fuel Pumps and the world's largest fuel pump manufacturer. With their proven track record for quality/reliability, we approached Denso in Japan about providing a higher flowing fuel pump to match the output of the Chinese 265lph pumps. Six months later, we have now released Denso's highest flowing Drop-In Pump for the FR-S/BR-Z/R35 GTR. $199.95 w/ Free USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail Shipping Overnight USPS Express Shipping only $20! *MADE IN JAPAN* 220lph @12V (9.5 Amp Draw) 265lph @13.5 V Pump Package Includes: 265lph Denso Japan Fuel Pump Denso Japan O-Ring Denso Japan Fuel Filter Denso Japan Wiring Harness (Will need to be spliced/soldered) or you can purchase Plug-N-Play Install Harness for $21 from Summit Racing. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dwk-9-1010/ http://speed-by-design.myshopify.com...-for-fr-s-br-z Wholesale inquiries welcomed. Very nice

Great pumps. Quality is top notch and nobody can doubt the track record of Denso. These will be supplied by using all our turbo kit and fuel options.

E85 compatible?
|
While the GTR community has been using these pumps without a single reported failure on E85, we are warrantying these for Gasoline use only.
It's easy to offer a 1-3 warranty on E85, when you're paying $15-20 per pump in China and marking them up 1000%. Even if you warranty the same pump 10 times, you've still turned a profit from a manufacturers point of view. Again, we have had a 100% success rate so far on E85 Ethanol, but Denso has instructed us their warranty will apply to gasoline use only. Ethanol is very hard of fuel systems, and our success rate on E85 thus far is an indication to the high quality internals Denso uses in their pumps. |
Will this Denso fuel pump make chirping sounds as well?
|
No, they feature a turbine style motor and are silent operation.
These are literally a hi-flow variant of the OEM R35 GTR 130lph pump. |
This is great! I may inquire about this for our turbo kit. Nice looking piece guys:thumbsup:

At this time, the Denso Fuel Pumps are our only forum offering for this market.
We would love to partner with fellow forum vendors, who can utilize these pumps in their turbo kits and in-house builds. Shoot me a PM if interested, and I'd be glad to provide my cell phone to speak further. We're a friendly bunch here in Oklahoma ;) |
Whichever company creates an aftermarket fuel pump in the engine bay before Toyota and Subaru will be rich. Any takers????? You'll get my money! (pending no chirps)

Is this pump a REAL drop in solution or is there any cutting or modding needed to be done like Deatschwerks fuel pump?
