This built Toyota 86 (Scion FR-S in USA) is a great example of what the FR-S is capable of. We have sent over multiple containers of parts, and it all came together for a nice final product. They assembled the FA20 engine with CP Pistons, Pauter rods, and Dynosty head studs. Airflow is provided by a Garrett GTX3076 on an upgraded Full Blown turbo kit, and escapes through a Motiv Concepts over pipe, front pipe, and Greddy exhaust. The engine is controlled by our Haltech plug&play standalone ems kit, which offers live tuning of ignition timing and port injection. Direct injection is retained and controlled by tuning through EcuTek. Hal was flown in to handle the dyno tuning portion on-site in Antigua, and ended with a turbo FR-S producing 370WHP Dynojet on pump gas, and 530WHP on VP race gas.

Congratulations to the hard-working team in Antigua on impressive dyno results, and thank you for your hospitality. Quite an impressive tuner car scene on the island, and beautiful place to visit. Once the bugs get worked out and sticky tires are installed, we expect to see this high performance FR-S fly down the track!

What PSI? What turbine backhousing A/R size? What compression ratio?

I keep seeing threads pop up with impressive figures from the GTX3076R and the results seem to validate my choice for new turbo. Great job.

Nice .. But all that Hp and dough spent and on what looks to be narrow width wheels and tires that sounds entertaining with that kind of grunt. :)

I believe we were around 30 psi, though the tune was set very conservative at that point. They requested 500whp, and it did it with ease. Probably a little more power still on the table, but they were satisfied and we stopped there.

Not sure how it translates to US octane. They call it 95 octane, though I suspect it is not on the same rating system. Also not sure if it contains ethanol like US 10%.

Those are the stock wheels/tires. I like the priorities... power first. I think it will receive some improved grip soon.

Those are the stock wheels/tires. I like the priorities... power first. I think it will receive some improved grip soon.

Dynosty output power at 9psi is 324whp and 250lb.

FA20 Dit (subaru turbo version of FA20) is 260whp and 290lb.

any body knows why power(hp)/torque(lb) ratio change after turbocharging?

Horsepower is a product of torque and RPM. The FA20 in the BRZ/FR-S is a high compression higher reving motor than the FA20 DIT in the WRX. Also the WRX uses a tiny baby turbo that provides a quick high boost spike that generates the higher torque numbers at a low RPM, but the torque then trails off as RPM increases.
