Please also note that on Manual Transmission vehicles, the TSL86plus will UNLOCK the doors only when you apply the Parking Brake. (In comparison, Automatic Transmission cars will UNLOCK when the gear is returned to the "P" position.)

Does this mean that the rapid slow-down auto-unlock doesn't work on manual transmissions? Or just the normal parking stop?

Also saw that the instructions say "NOTE#1: This product will not automatically Unlock in the event of a car accident.". Does this mean that it can only be triggered by rapid braking, but not rapid slow-down to an accident? Or is this just legal-speak to say that you don't guarantee it auto-opening in an accident?

high deceleration provide unlock as write on english manual, too.

So here it is......thanks to Middle Age timing of Italian Postal Service and Customs....

TSL86PLUS from Kiramek is only for Japan Market, you must import from them.
I confirm full compliant for BRZ High Grade (Italy) 6MT as for the BRZ japanese model.

here all that you need. I suggest, if you buy, to consider Splitter - ODB23, so it's very easy to install.

I don't like how it unlocks the doors when you pull the handbrake up in manual transmission cars. I wish they made the doors unlock when you turn off the ignition instead. I wouldn't want the doors to keep unlocking whenever I use the handbrake while stuck in a traffic jam, or when using it to initiate drifts.

If you wish drifting or other , you can remove adapter in EODB harness within 3 seconds. After that you can fit it again without re-programming.

I wonder if setting the DIP switches to type A - automatic transmission, will still lock the doors in a manual car and prevent the doors to unlock with the handbrake? I don't care much for auto unlock.

each settings work properly in accordance to the type of vehicle...so if you get AT the switch won't operate on MT.
