FS: White FR-S brz front $13,000 end of february

I am selling a car that I really wanted to keep, but I lost my job and I would rather save this money until I find another job. That and My impreza wagon's trans took a shiet this week so the my bill was $1300.

Why so low? It has a rebuilt title because it was a front end collision car.
What happened in the accident? Radiator, bumper, hood and passenger fender may as well been replaced when I bought it.
I have the pictures when It was crashed so whoever is interested in the car I will gladly show you them. I took it to alignment just to make sure it was ok and was fine the first time but I got the adjustable rear control arms retuned to spec. (I have the sheet too btw)
Runs and drives amazing as you can imagine a twin would drive.
Here are the basics:
2013 scion FR-S with BRZ front end swap, Carbon fiber hood, adjustable rear controls arms, koyo aluminum radiator. Rebuilt title. 16,820 miles. Asking $15,000 firm.

UPDATE: I got my dream job on December 16th and wow, I have been so busy in training it's insane how busy. With that being said I don't forsee how I will have any time to even play with this car for at least a year.....of course unless I get fired or layed off. Let's not even consider that. So with that being said, the car is For Sale still and I can only show it on Saturdays and test drives are for people really interested no tire kickers. No issues whatsoever with the car. I can post a video up once the snow melts of me driving it around. It is an insanely good deal people jump on it before tax checks start getting passed out then it'll become an all out brawl.

edit: added recent photos even though pretty crappy looking from my iPhone.

Will do, I have to get a nice day so a buddy can shoot it for me. I did remove the toyota emblem up front and put on smoked side markers. I replaced the emblem with a subaru emblem, as I printed a toyota emblem to fit the subaru size but it wasnt perfect so meh. I painted the housings black on the scion headlamps, if I think anything else ill post it when pics go up. Also I'm in the Maryland, DC Metro area if anyone is interested

It's missing the weather seal at the front of the bumper and front fender splash guards and side markers ^_^

Seems like a steal if it runs good and salvage title doesn't bother you.

irax 12-03-2013 02:53 PM

Considering that salvage titles have been going for about 19k. I like the subaru bumper more anyways. Too bad you didn't get the headlights but that I could always get later :-P

Speedy000 12-03-2013 02:55 PM

i think for the price is a great deal. other thing that makes it look a bit off is the headlights dont sit in the front bumper the same as the brz lights would.

mariolefty1 12-03-2013 03:46 PM

The seal and fender liners are in, a few clips were broken so i replaced the liners and clips and it was my car so I was picky about everything including seals etc. The pic is old but I have financial needs so wanted to generate interest meanwhile the photos get posted.

Yeah I'm going to talk to my bank today and see what they can do for me.

mariolefty1 12-03-2013 09:02 PM

but you are in San Diego? how are laws regarding rebuilt titled cars? I know in Maryland to insurance and DMV its the same as a regular car no difference but in say New York you can't register a ex-salvage car from MD. I had to pass a state police inspection before being able to re-tag it. That plus the regular State inspection. Just check before you get excited that is all. I'm thinking of also doing a video since my gopro isnt doing anything for me and a walk around for out of state buyers.

irax 12-04-2013 05:35 PM

Yeah my guy at the bank is going to get back to me about that. I don't know if it would still count as a salvaged title in California and they are looking into it. But still posting more pics is only going to help you out ;-)

mariolefty1 12-04-2013 10:01 PM

cool, I think by friday for sure. As long as you aren't a nigerian prince or anything because I'm broke and I can't help out at the moment.

mariolefty1 12-05-2013 06:56 PM

OK, so today was a really nice day and though my friend couldn't take pics with his nice camera I decided to give it a try with my iPhone.

Also would like to add there is no lien on the title and it is under my name.

That's a deal, wow.

If you don't mind answering what did you pay before fix cost?

mariolefty1 12-06-2013 10:14 AM

In total I'm up to about 17,300. I got the car for 11,500, and i have 5,800 on a credit card for parts and labor so basically I am paying interest on the card and its messing me up at the moment. biggest hurdle is dealership for parts being a new car it's, this and that is back ordered, it'll be a month..... plus it gives you a way to add things here and there like radiator, whatever bumper you prefer, etc, it's like build your fr-s as you go, if my budget would've allowed at the time I would've turbo'ed it
