Possibly. I'll be working but I can spare time during lunch. What time can you do lunch? Any time around 12:30 will be prime for me. You'll just have to order me some wings too so I don't waste my lunch waiting for my order.

Chen 12-02-2013 01:52 PM

I wanna see these puppies

Kensurs 12-02-2013 02:27 PM

Which headlights are they? :) I wanna see!

DarrenDriven 12-02-2013 03:11 PM

I'm in New York most the week.

Yeah for srs. Spankin deal.

BRZPDX 12-02-2013 10:16 PM

can you do Wednesday at like 12:15PM? I'll be there a little earlier to order some wings. I just opened the fortune cookie box, the lights look good. I'll just keep the bubble wrap like how it was so I didn't inspect it closely. It was wrapped around my mothers custom mink fur coat or something so that was enough to be a shock absorbent.

You should talk to Darren, and black the inside out before installing the headlights. First JDM86 blacked out head lights.. maybe in the west coast!

m.box.design 12-02-2013 11:34 PM

Yeah I can do 12:15. Thanks for all the work! I'll text you what I want on Wednesday :D

Kensurs 12-03-2013 05:32 PM

Just curious, but when I was looking into getting the GT86 headlights I was told that they are different from American headlights because of the right hand drive, and the lights will shine into oncoming traffic. Is this true at all? Thanks!

m.box.design 12-03-2013 06:06 PM

It is true! but we can put it to the test. Wanna come drive down the opposite road of me? Just figured I'd get them first and do a retrofit later down the line when I gots more car funds saved up.

BRZPDX 12-03-2013 07:54 PM

I've seen it in person, its not that bad. If it is so "blinding", it wouldn't be street legal in any road since any car can be hit by any angle. The ghetto blue HID's without cutoffs that you see rolling around town is much more brighter than RHD lights imo.

Yeah, you are right... it can't be much worse than a bad set of HIDs.

True, cant beat a civic with non-projector headlamps using 8k hid bulbs.

m.box.design 12-20-2013 02:28 AM

@BRZPDX would you believe me if I told you that the cutoff of the headlights is actually for LHD? As in, higher on the right than on the left!

BRZPDX 12-20-2013 03:13 AM

really!? Its straight from Japan man.. If that's the case, you scored big time!

Yeah im trying to wrap my head around why it's like this... Maybe they got their hands on a set intended for USDM? It's really weird!

I doubt that. They came from a JDM gt86 that was going to use for track only so the owner did not need the headlights anymore.

Well whatever it is, glad it worked out man lol. Pics!!!!
