You have spent about $500 on JDM interior pieces, but didn't want to spent extra $65?

I don't want to spend $65 for something that should be included by default. I can perfectly understand giving discounts to show cars, sponsoring cars, whatever. For just selling to the general public, why are you charging money to not have an obnoxious logo? It rubs me the wrong way.

I like OEM+. I don't want a bunch of third party logos plastered over the interior of my car. I don't want something that looks like I just glued Alcantara over every single bit of the interior. I wanted something that looks like it could have been factory on a BRZ model even more upscale than the Limited.

You just put yourself "JDM" all over yourself.

What?

They didn't have only alcantara, so it's dealbreaker? I don't get this logic. Did you call JPM? They actually do custom fabrication for your needs.

I e-mailed back and forth with two JPM people, they told me that even though the description listed sim leather and alcantara options, they were only offering the center console ones in sim leather, the door speaker ones were alcantara only. They were friendly about it, but they pretty much told me to buy the alcantara ones or look elsewhere.

Another vendor might make em? High quality stuff as JPM? Good luck forking over 2~3 times more.

Yeah, Subaru/Toyota do, and the JDM kneepads from Amayama are a little cheaper, and the only logos stamped on them are on the backs. Good quality, available in leather (not just alcantara) which is a perfect match for the rest of the interior. The black plastic dash pieces aren't as nice as the JPM ones, but they're a whole lot cheaper.
I don't know why everyone is jumping down my throat. OP expressed a complaint with the JPM pricing structure, and I agreed with him. I've thoroughly explained the reasoning behind why I agree with him, and so far I haven't seen an argument in favor of their current pricing model besides "You put stickers for vendors on your car anyway, who cares?" or "Well, you can get it in black so it's less noticeable". They've got two products. One of them costs slightly less than the other to produce because it's missing a logo. Why does that one cost $65 more? It doesn't cost them $65 more to make. They've essentially said "We're going to put on something we know you don't want, and charge you an arm and a leg to get rid of it". Sorry, that's not for me. If I give them $136 and swear on a bible that the moment I get it in the mail, I'll painstakingly spend hours picking the threads out to remove the logo, will they give me one without a logo? I've never seen a company charge you more for an unbranded version of their product, and certainly not 50% more. It's seriously uncool in my book, and judging from many other responses to this thread, I'm far from the only one who feels that way.
