Ok you just confused me. That picture shows the cat on the outside of the front pipe.

Pictures may help. As BRZTimeTrials stated, there are two catalytic converters on the stock FR-S/BRZ ..... one is a part of the header system and the other one is that fat ugly thing in the front pipe.
