Make: Toyota, Model: Scion FR S
 

Just received title for my 2014 and it lists the make as Toyota and the model as a Scion FR S. My insurance and registration also list the make as a Toyota and the model as a Scion FR S. What's up with that?

Mines says subaru bzr lol

because scion is made by Toyota, idk...

Suddenly a rebadge seems legit and a morally responsible thing to do. lol

In government terms, it was a lot simpler to just see Scion as models from Toyota, instead of there just being another car brand.

Less headaches.

That's probably true since my Honda-badged Acura got me out of parking tickets a few times :)

I have heard of the same thing happening to tC owners as well.

It's the same for my registration here in Arizona but not my insurance. I just assumed it's a government thing where Scion is just considered a sub-brand of Toyota and not a fully different marque.

My insurance slip and registration both say Toyota on them, which is fitting as I am re badged, everywhere anyhow.

Got "Toyota" written on my tint ticket as well as my insurance…..lol
