"Clicking" or "knocking" caused by rear seat pull down lever.
Anyone else have this sound from their rear seat pull down lever thing? I know it comes from that because I can replicate it by swinging them myself. It's caused when they hang low and swing back and forth while driving. Once I put the seats down, it goes away. But I utilize my rear seat, plus the exhaust is too loud with the seat down. When I push the rear seat back up, the sound is gone for about a day. The car sits for a bit, and then the noise comes back.

I've always had a weird clunk over certain bumps from driver rear. Never took the time to look into it

I'll try next time I go out driving with rear seat down see if that clunk goes away

Many of the twins had the rattle (clunk) from the rear package shelf area. My dealership did a pretty good in depth study on mine and found when they took the package shelf out and test drove the car there was no clunk. Putting the package shelf back in caused the clunk. Their fix was to put a strip of adhesive foam rubber across the top of the cross member running under the package shelf, which allowed cushioning between the shelf and the cross member, and my clunk is gone.
