Drift-Office : Grams Aftermarket Fuel Injectors & Pump...

Can't say I'm not excited today - I've purchased a set of these and got this in the mail a few hours ago and I'm eagerly awaiting to find the time this week before Thanksgiving to see what this would do for us FI peeps...

The injectors above are 1000cc spec'ed - and I've seen these on some of the 1200WHP Hondas that come this way and they (Grams) work FLAWLESSLY. They're certainly not new on the proverbial block...

Can't say the same for that other company that's been around pushing their stuff!

If testing works out well, you'll see this as a packaged product for all subsequent AVO 300 / AVO 350 builds, and for the uprated SC offerings from KraftWerks / Jackson Racing / Innovate / HKS kits as well. I trust our faith in the product is well founded. :)

Stay Tuned for more pics and results!

I am really interested in these components, as I am currently at the limit of what can safely be achieved with the standard pump and injectors. Will you be selling the kit once you have tested it?

zooki 11-28-2013 03:51 PM

So has anyone found the direct injection pump to be a limiter yet? Disregarding the whole "chirping" thing, is there a point where it can't keep up with demand?

digital_assassin 12-01-2013 01:37 AM

@Drift-Office

Have you had a chance to put these in the car yet Bob?

s2d4 12-01-2013 03:58 PM

bob, are you aware of this?

Does McDonald's ever support or highlight In n Out, nope, so of course they had something negative to say? We've had nothing but good results with the Grams Injectors and Fuel Pumps and wouldn't put them in our supercharger kits if we didn't believe in the product.

Since I've been rather busy with the twins and finishing all the other customer projects before we close for the rest of the year, I've yet to find the time to install them - but I can say that I've seen my peers on my dyno running their drag / street setups with these injectors and have yielded fantastic results.

I'll post an update on these in Feb, since I'll be out to TAS in Jan and the like... Stay frosty guys!

Happy Holidays!

Nailed it. They both fall under Group-A Autosports Inc along with Skunk2.

Simmer down boys before your posts arouse the peanut gallery.

That's why Drift-Office will be doing some independent testing.

Drift-Office 12-13-2013 02:51 PM

Disclaimer : I bought these injectors and pump from Group A / Grams.

I'm confused guys - there aren't a whole lot of injector options out there for the FRS right now, and while there are the IDs, it's been my observation that most here tend to lean towards the DWs. Between DWs and Grams (which is IMHO, leaps and bounds better than DW and shouldn't be in the same sentence) - which would you rather use?

Not sure what the issue is being under the same umbrella as Skunk2, but as a calibrator, I always welcome new options that enable us to do our jobs that much better and at a price comparable to DWs. And if they work well, think of the possibilities that this would allow for? :)

My 2 cents!

Have you had personal experience with Grams products? We'd recommend you try them for yourself. Jesse, you represent a business, if anything you should be looking into them to distribute, you're getting killed trying to sell I.D., but hey, that's none of our business.

If you don't want to believe us ask customers how they like the Gram's injectors that come in there 06-11 Civic Si, Miata, 12-13 Civic Si and soon to be released S2000, 2013 Camaro, 2013 Mustang supercharger kits. You can also contact SpeedFactory, Go-Autoworks and a slew of other supporters of Grams. SpeedFactory is running them in their record breaking 7 second 1/4 mile Honda Civic, it makes over 1000hp, you think they would run a garbage injector?

Anyway, let us know what you think Bob.

The point Jesse was making, was that you were presenting an opinion without disclosing that your companies are related, therefore it stands to good reason that your opinion is always going to be biased towards the product, whether it was good or not.

He wasn't questioning the product (which is how you be taken it)

He was pointing out a fact that you should have disclosed.
