Hi All,

We wanted to let everyone know with the changes to the business last year, I personally went back through all our 86/BRZ tunes and started from a blank canvas. I felt the way the tunes were being handled from initial delivery to final revisions for all our customers, new and old, was not to the level I expected. At the end of the day I am the owner and the lead calibrator of Delicious Tuning, so I can only blame myself on this.

So about a year ago, I made the choice to rebuild the process, work with some highly technical engineers in airflow design, and network/server automation so that we can build a better tune (better airflow in and out of the engine) and have a faster turnaround time (hopefully finish that up this year). It seems that the changes we introduced so far have worked well, as we became the #1 EcuTeK Dealer in the world. Thank all our customers for their support, it was greatly appreciated.

All the NA tunes we offer are brand new as of March 2019, they included extensive testing on quite a few header designs, including specific tunes for the following applications.

2013-1016 Intake Intake Manifold
- Stock 2013-2016 header,
- Stock 2017+ headers,
- ACE 350,
- JDL 4-2-1
- Tomei Unequal

2017+ Red Intake Intake Manifold (manual cars)
- Stock 2013-2016 header,
- Stock 2017+ headers,
- ACE 350,
- JDL 4-2-1
- Tomei Unequal

The major difference between the old/new tunes is in how the ECU adapts to sensor inputs, in what scenarios it adapts, how it adapts in those various scenarios and how quickly it will make changes. These adaptation help smooth out the power delivery, offer a wider / more controlled throttle input, and adjust to the environment conditions more so than before to ensure as much consistency.

Of course we are now using EcuTeK BlueTooth Connect and taking advantage of this through some cool features

EcuTeK BlueTooth Connect Delicious Tuning Customization
- Custom Traction Control Level Slider
- Custom Pops & Bangs Level Slider
- Custom Crackle On/Off Switch

We also have been developing tunes for the following:
- Greddy ITB's - Manifold Air Pressure Sensor Based
- Greddy ITB's - Alpha - N Based (throttle vs RPM)
- Full Blown Motorsports Manifold

In the works are some custom setups we are hoping to release this year, based on the results of of the customers we are working with. The plans are to increase the NA power above what the current limits with the current level of parts in the market.

There is also more in the works this year with further safety features and cool tricks we are implementing with the ECU. So be on the look out.

Safety Features In the Works
- Triple CEL Blink: to notify you when the VVT is not enabled. This is to inform you to drive lightly, as the cams are not active. (complete)
- More custom check engine lights coming for additional safety measures as the year progresses

Cheers,

on your site , you claimed that your flex tune are tuned to work with your flex fuel kit
Does that mean it doesn't work with any other tuens?
And also what's the different between crackle and pop&bangs?

I believe you are asking if our Flex Fuel Kit will work with other tuners/tunes? If so then yes they will work with other tuners using EcuTeK software.

Crackle is the small pops you get when you let off the throttle between shifts.

Pops & Bangs are designed to be above 4K and controlled by you right foot.

William

I already have another flex fuel/sensor kit on my FI FRS, so will that work with your flex fuel tunes?

But after a while it occasionally started to bog abruptly (due to closing of the throttle), which it meanwhile does all the time at WOT.
For whatever reason, the WG Duty goes to 100% immediately and then the throttle closes (screen shots attached). Maybe it is also some sort of a defective contact? I don't think it is a mechanical issue otherwise it would have done it all the time - besides, the software appears to be giving a false command anyway.
Any ideas?

Closing the throttle to about 20% is ecutek inbuilt overboost protection in Radeon 10 and above.

I'd check you MAP sensor is ok, then can fail and read incorrect boost levels.

Also your waste gate actuator may be stuck or the boost line leaking or blocked

Yes our tunes will work with out Flex Fuel Kits. We just need to know which one so we can scale the sensor accordingly.

I have the Full Blown Motorsports FlexFuel kit which has the Zeitronix controller, so would you need more specific info?

Also, what version RaceROM do you use on your tunes?

Hi All,

We just released a new update, version 31.50.

In this release we have updated the following.
1. Drivability down low between 2000-4000 RPM.
2. More LSPI updates down low, helps a fair amount of vehicles.
3. Better AFR closed loop control under WOT.
4. Better tip in performance
5. Better boost ramp in at low RPM's.
6. Improved Traction Control (optional upgrade) for cars even with 700+ hp
7. Improved AFR's for 17+ ECU's, since the control is a bit different
8. Flex Fuel blending improved, not just a linear adjustment.

Not sure if you're even still active here but I thought I'd check.

My last tune was in 2016. No major changes to the car but I'm wondering what changes you've made to the tune since then.

Mods are an ACE CS400 header, high flow cat in the front pipe, and that's about it. I might still have an aftermarket air filter, but I can't remember.

We have some updates to our Stage 1, Stage 2, Flash & Go and All FI application tunes. The Stage 1 & Stage 2 required some small changes are to the idle control and startup conditions on speed density and some work is still in progress (below), so we will retain the same enumeration on the naturally aspirated applications. Where as the Flash & Go tunes have made quite a few changes (see list below) to our latest version which will also include, Edelbrock, Harrop, Innovate, and Jackson supercharger kits.

We seem to have found a small bug within the latest (and previous versions), while on speed density only, that in certain conditions (warm engine) on some 86's (does not affect all vehicles), the vehicle will start and die. This is something we have been reviewing with EcuTek and a few cars that have the issue. Otherwise the idle control should be a bit more stable now when running 100% Speed Density, with a lot less likely chance of receiving a high idle code as in previous versions of the tune.

Latest revisions offered by Delicious Tuning:

Stage 1 Reflash: New Version 18.50
- 100% Speed Density (any intake works)
- Stock header manifold
- Stock intake manifold 13-16 or 17-20
- Stock or aftermarket exhaust system.
- More details, click here

Stage 2 Reflash: Version 18.50
- 100% Speed Density (any intake works)
- Designed to accommodate your preferred choice of header.
- Revised intake, exhaust, timing, ignition advance, fueling, DI and PI maps
- More details, click here

Flash & Go (all forced induction applications) Version 33.50
- 100% Speed Density Enabled
- Low speed acceleration from a dead stop.
- Low speed stock throttle, with Race Throttle or higher speeds.
- Improved Direct (mid RPM range) and Port Angle injection (low speeds)
- Improved CAM Angles (better top end power)
- Better tip in response for Speed Density
- Improved off throttle burble (add-on)
- Improved Flex Fuel (Ethanol) performance output
- Improved Idle Control for more applications
- Improved Mid Throttle / Mid RPM response and AFR ratios/targets
- More Details: Click Here
