Hi All,
Well we have been working on some new projects as of late and for the end of the year we are planning on developing specific tunes specifically for each header we feel is of good quality and popular in the market. Here is the list we have going so far we are going to be developing tunes for - JDL Equal and Unequal Length - Tomei Equal and Unequal Length - Nameless Header - PPE Equal Length Header Is there anything else people would like to have us add to the list of headers to dial in on our Stage 2 Tune? Rev works headers are quite popular as well, although not sure of the quality compared to those you've listed. |
Thank you so much for doing this! You rock:party0030:
With specific tunes for each header I'm curious to see what kind of differences in power and torque we'll see for each. I currently have the PPE header so I'm eager to see how it compares to the rest of the bunch  More than that though I'm really glad to see that extra effort is being made to get the platform dialed in with popular performance parts :w00t: |

As for the topic of headers and why, well we found that on some tunes they just did not perform as expected with a specific header. So we started playing with cams a bit and found some just work better in some respects but suffer in others. I think at the end of this we will find headers that a good general purposes daily driver. Some that are really designed for track and drag and other that are meant for low end grunt. Some of these headers work better on supercharger kits also. So I am interested and want to see the differences myself. Once we are done we should have some good info for everyone and offer tunes specific to headers offered. @DeliciousTuning just wondering if it was the UEL or EL Tomei header you were using in the dsport article. Really leaning towards the EL right now.

We have been testing it with Pandora, Tom Tom Navigation and everything has been working well. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

As far as using a lightweight crank pulley goes, it's up to you. The tune won't change, and quite honestly you won't make anymore power. What can happen is that idle dips could become more apparent. The only benefit I've noticed is a slightly higher willingness to rev with the clutch engaged. No real performance gains to be had here. Sincerely, Delicious Tuning |
