Hey guys, just wondering if there are any other BRZ/FRS owners on the board from Winnipeg? I see Saskatchewan has it's own forum.....

a year and a half after the rest of us started our local threads, the peg has joined in. Go for it guys, have met some really good people locally and when on vacation in other parts of North America. Hope you can get some interest generated out there. :cheers:

Sorry for the late reply. I have been active on another BRZ site since we got our World Rally Blue BRZ. I have just joined this site since there is more traffic here.

I received the first BRZ in Winnipeg in the summer of 2012. We ordered it in May and received a call from the dealership that the first car was delivered and the purchaser declined it. Since it was identical to ours we took delivery and the rest is history and many thumbs up from passers by.

We were driving through Fargo ND that same summer and were pulled over by a car full of guys that just wanted to look at it. There were none in Fargo at that time.

Over 2013 Scion built a dealership nearby and we see the occasional FR-S on the road now. It is a good feeling to be a part of a great design that is so well regarded.

I'll be visiting your lovely/cold city for work. Unfortunately I'm staying right by the airport. Can anyone suggest a reason I should travel into town? Maybe a great restaurant?

Best restaurant in town is The Grove on Grosvenor. It's a high-end pub

If you want to go to a good restaurant go to Praire 360. Probably best 360 view of the city you'll get besides a helicopter

I'm an ex-winnipeger as of 1.5 years ago, but got my FR-S in Calgary.
I still visit Winnipeg several times a year.
