Circuit help? - Audi style indicator + DRL
I'm not savvy on this kind of stuff so asking for help on how to make one if possible.
Basically what I'm looking for is something like how Audi DRL + Indicator works, So you have your DRL but when you signal left, left indicator starts blinking and this turns off DRL on the left side while indicator is running. Think Jeep does it also? I want to make something like this with 2 strips of LEDs. Can anyone help me with this? :D |
Are you trying to add the amber LED strip into the existing LED strip or you just want the LED strip to be disabled when turn signal is enabled on that side? Your description is confusing.

sorry I'll clarify,
I want to add amber LED (indicator) strip into the existing DRL strip. AND make it work so that DRL LED turns off when indicator is turned on. thanks |
the wiring will not be that difficult. The physical modification would be to open up the headlight and replace the oem drl with a switchback led strip. switchbacks are usually preconfigured to accept a positive from drl, positive from turn signal, and a ground. with the switchback strip, it would perform exactly like an audi.

Ah so I just need to get that switchback LEDs. :D Thank you! |
no problem. I have the same setup on my other car, but instead of a strip, i use switchback led bulbs.
