question: how to remove rear seatback?
I'm sure this is written up somewhere as part of a bigger write up, but I can't find it. Can someone please point me to it?

Fold down seat, pull bottom part of carpet covering the back of the seat up and discover a bracket with a bolt on it on each side. I belie it's a 10mm or 12mm. Unbolt them. Then pull the brackets off the metal tab you see next to the bolts and it'll come right off.
The bottom of the seats come off with the one bolt on each side and a metal clip to unhook which is super easy. I just did this over the weekend and it took no more than 5 minutes from beginning to end. |

Now how does the center portion of the seat come out?

If you're talking about the divider between the seat bottoms, you can't remove it. It's the transmission tunnel. |

You will need to clarify your questions more if you want help. Pictures would also help.

You need to remove rear seat bottoms and center console, then pop out 2 tabs to pull that piece out. |
